National Reining Horse Association-City of Oklahoma City, State Fair Park

The headquarter facilities for the National Reining Horse Association are now located in the former US Army Reserve building situated on the State Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. Originally constructed in the early 1960’s, this adaptive reuse project included structural reinforcement to meet modern building codes and allow major interior demolition to accommodate the needs of a modern, technology-enabled office facility. CMSWillowbrook worked closely with both the NRHA and the property owner to develop a construction program that matched the tenant’s long-term space needs with the owner’s finance and lease structure, providing a lasting solution for both parties. Construction delivery was provided through a Design-Build agreement. CMSWillowbrook selected an architectural firm acceptable to all parties and provided comprehensive, single source services from permitting, through construction and tenant build-out, all the way to tenant move-in.
