Oklahoma State University

The 85,000 square foot renovation and addition project was a remarkable feat, showcasing the team’s dedication and expertise in creating a modern, cutting-edge facility while preserving the historic charm of the original building built in 1939. The project involved an extensive overhaul of the entire building, including selective demolition down to the structure and shell. A complete overhaul of the finishes, exterior doors, windows and MEP systems was also undertaken. It also included an addition of a new state of the art 200 seat classroom auditorium.

What sets this project apart is the personal connection and dedication of the Willowbrook team. Most of the project team attended college at Oklahoma State University and had classes in the old Engineering South building. It was a unique experience to revive an old building into one of the most modern and elegant buildings on campus. The renovated Engineering South facility is a shining example of how modernity and history can coexist.
