CMSWillowbrook Celebrates Winning the Journal Record Women Empowerment Award

CMSWillowbrook celebrates winning the Journal Record Empowering Women award. The Empowering Women Award is new this year, and it highlights companies and organizations that focus on supporting and elevating women in Oklahoma.

Over the years, women have and/or currently hold the following titles: Owner, CFO, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Preconstruction, Senior Project Manager, Preconstruction Manager, Marketing, HR, Accounting, Contract Administrators and Painters. CMSWillowbrook currently has 27 women on staff. Which accounts for 18% of their total employees, which is above the national average. The company culture offers women mentoring women to help develop skills and advance careers. According to the Journal Record, Empowering Women honorees are selected by the Journal Record’s editorial board. Nominations, applications and letters of recommendation are judged on documented hiring and promoting of women, leadership positions held by women, advocacy for the cause of women internally and externally, and efforts to cultivate the next generation of women professionals.
