Meridian Technology Center
The Meridian Technology Center South Division Campus in Guthrie will include space for short courses focused on personal and professional development, business and industry training, and space for entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses. It will also have exhibit halls available for use by the community. The campus will sit on approximately 19 acres and include two buildings: the Training & Development Center and Business Incubator.
The TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT CENTER consists of six classrooms with capacity for 28 people, four conference rooms with capacity for 20 people, medical skills classroom and lab with capacity for 21 students each, computer lab with up to 21 stations, catering kitchen and culinary classroom for short courses, and student lounge area with vending machines. There are Four exhibit halls: One holds 64 people, one holds 70, and two hold 140. Exhibit halls can combine into one large hall with a capacity for 477 people (approximately 7,000 square-feet) with space that opens onto a back patio. It also includes staff offices.
The BUSINESS INCUBATOR holds eight office spaces for residential tenants, an open desk area for virtual tenants, three conference rooms with an occupancy ranging from 4-12 people, three industrial bays, each with an office, storage room and external access. There are staff offices and a classroom with a capacity for 42 students.
